• About Larkspur Grant Partners

We believe great organizations should not miss funding opportunities simply because they lack the time, resources, or in-house grant capacity to pursue them. Larkspur Grant Partners provides practical, relationship-centered grant support that helps organizations strengthen their funding strategies and focus on the work that matters most.

Whether an organization is pursuing its first grant or managing a growing funding strategy, our goal is to provide clear guidance, dependable support, and practical solutions that make the grant process more manageable and effective.

Our Story

As a mother-daughter team, we bring together different experiences, perspectives, and strengths. Trina Davis has spent more than two decades in nonprofit fundraising and development, helping organizations secure millions of dollars in support for programs that strengthen communities. Throughout her career, she has also served as a mentor, sharing her knowledge of nonprofit work, relationship-building, and grant development with the next generation.

Carly Escobedo brings hands-on experience supporting nonprofit programs through volunteer leadership, fundraising, community engagement, educational programming, and program operations. Having worked directly alongside organizations and the people they serve, she understands the challenges many nonprofits face when balancing day-to-day responsibilities with the pursuit of funding opportunities.

The name Larkspur was inspired by a tradition we have shared for years. Every spring, we find ourselves talking about the wildflowers blooming across Texas and appreciating the beauty they bring to the landscape. When it came time to name our business, choosing a native Texas wildflower felt fitting, not only because of our shared love of nature, but because it reflects a relationship rooted in mentorship, curiosity, and growth.

In many ways, Larkspur Grant Partners reflects the relationship that helped build it. What began as years of shared conversations, guidance, learning, and encouragement eventually grew into a business built around helping others succeed. The values that have shaped our relationship, including trust, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to supporting others, continue to guide the way we work today.
